Description

A black and white photograph taken during World War Two, of a vast number of military vehicles all gathered together in an otherwise empty desert. An inscription on the reverse side of the photograph states 'A good show of captured enemy equipment near El Alamein'. The "spoils of war" after the Axis forces were defeated by the Allied forces in the Battle of El Alamein in October, 1942. Part of the Jack Bickley collection.
