Frank Gibson Jr was born to play the drums. Growing up in Balmoral, Auckland, he watched the Sunday jam sessions his father Frank Gibson Sr organised with his friends, Auckland’s leading professional musicians. Frank Jr’s career began at the age of eight, when he performed a drum duet with his father at the Auckland Town Hall.
