Description

The Alpha Motor Inn was built on the corner of Victoria Avenue and Broadway in 1970 for Betty and Bill Clarke. The sculpture Falling Water, by Fred Graham (Ngāti Korokī Kahukura, Tainui, 1928 – 2025), is visible on its street frontage.
