Julia Morison

A DigitalNZ Story by Sienna Latham

Born in 1952, Pahiatua native Morison's artwork incorporates and interrogates symbols derived from Hermeticism, cabala, alchemy, knotwork and mnemonic systems, interweaving and interpreting their meanings in a contemporary context.
