The late New Zealander Sir Peter Blake has been inducted into the World Sailing Hall of Fame, the highest honour in the sport.

Famous New Zealander, Sailor, Pirate, killed, Remembered, come's from Bayswater.

Peter James Blake was born in Auckland, New Zealand, on 1 October 1948, and raised in the suburb of Bayswater on the northern edge of the Waitematā Harbour.
