Every year in NZ around 1000 couples are expecting twins, triplets or more babies. (See Ministry of Health). Did you know there are eleven different types of twins? (See Twins & More). In my intermediate school class, we had twin sisters. At another intermediate school, a class had eight sets of twins and one set of triplets! (See Te Ara). During school gala days, you can also see twin calves and lambs on parade.
