William Thomas Owen

A DigitalNZ Story by Dawn Chambers

Owen family in Wanganui 1866. A speculation based on these three photographs featuring the same floor covering suggesting they were taken about the same time.

Beagles, Chemist and Druggist

See "Two Wanganui Beagles 1866" in the July 2019 Famnet newsletter. Registration of dogs was required annually. The non-registration of 'Regent' and 'Music' in the Wanganui/Rangitikei region under any owner in 1867 or 1868 suggests that perhaps they found a new owner elsewhere?
