Kaitiakitanga - Why is the ocean important? How can we look after it?

Students will:

• look at ways to raise awareness of the many ways the ocean is important
• explore their school and local environment and reflect on why the ocean is important to them
• examine other environments and cultures and think about how peoples views of the ocean are similar or different.
