Kate Sheppard is the woman on the ten dollar note, the woman who gave Females the chance to vote. A real hero I say.

- Kate Sheppard was one of the first women to cycle in New Zealand, taking it up around 1892 in Christchurch.
- She became a founding member of the Atalanta Ladies' Cycling Club, which ran from 1892 to 1897.
- Kate was born 10th of March 1847, Liverpool, United Kingdom.
- Kate Died 13th July 1934, Christchurch.
- Kate Sheppard died at 87.
